PRODUCTS/SHOP MEN’S FORMULASProstate support carotenoid*Pure Encapsulations Lycopene provides a natural, nonGMO tomato extract rich in lycopene, various carotenoids, vitamin E, and other important phytochemicals. In one study involving 30 male subjects, supplementation with lycopene promoted healthy prostate function. This was one of the first randomized, prospective clinical trials to show that a lycopene supplement, rather than dietary tomato consumption, supported prostate health. Research compiled in a multi-center study involving ten European countries revealed that the antioxidant properties of dietary lycopene supported cardiovascular health. Fifty-seven epidemiological studies indicate that lycopene from tomato consumption or tomato-based products may help digestive, lung, stomach, cervical and breast cell health.Pure Encapsulations Lycopene 10 mg provides optimal antioxidant and cellular health support. Gout & Prostate – is there a connection?

Posted by admin on Dec 15, 2009 under Prostate Cancer PSA Level

The doctor wants to do a biopsy of the prostate because PSA levels are high. Shouldn’t a CT scan be done first? At the same time, gout has been diagnosed by a different doctor. Is there a connection? I am diabetic with heart problems (with pacemaker) and poor kidneys.

No sure bout gout related to prostate issues. I have gout and no issues so far. As far as a biopsy, do it man. Why take the intermediate step when the biopsy will tell the whole story. Waiting to do this could be a death sentence for you

Frequent urination after sex (male)…?

Posted by admin on Dec 15, 2009 under Prostate Cancer Frequent Urination

After my girl and I have sex, I have to constantly urinate. It almost feels like an enlarged prostate because 30 seconds after I pee and feel like I gotta squeeze more out again. After I take about 2 Advil the feeling of constantly having to urinate goes away. It’s been going on for about 3 months now. My diet is very good and I am very healthy to my knowledge, the only change I have made in the last few months is I started taking Centrum the multi-vitamin but I don’t think that really has any relation to this problem. Anyone ever experience something like that?

The pelvis is wired up really badly. The nerves that serve everything in the region come together before they get to the spine, and sometimes for some people there is crosstalk on the nerves.

The spasm of ejaculation may just be setting off your urinary nerves and giving you that gotta go feeling. As long as it isn’t too bothersome, no worries.

Sometimes it goes totally wacky and men get all sorts of symptoms that are blamed on prostates. Instead, it is from small muscle spasms in the pelvic floor muscles called trigger points. There is a lot about it at chronicprostatitis.com.

Frequent urination/weak stream…..?

Posted by admin on Dec 11, 2009 under Prostate Cancer Frequent Urination

I’m not emptying my bladder when I urinate. I go often, usually 12-15 times per day. When I do go, the stream is very weak. I haven’t had a good strong pee in a long time…for a while this was just a problem in public places like school so i thought maybe it was some kind of anxiety problem but…now it seems to happen when i’m at home too. I’m 17 years old so i knew it couldn’t be enlarged prostate…my doctor check anyway and said everything was fine. Sometimes i have strong urges that if i don’t get up and use the bathroom immediately i’ll go in my pants, which doesn’t make much sense i guess…

You should be tested :in case that you have diabetes:then this happens too
Been a diabetic over 30 years:and this is how i started too.
